1. Reference books, reports, CDs are not lent out of the library.
2. The readers should check the book thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, pictures etc., while borrowing the book.
3. No book in damaged condition will be accepted from the reader.
4. Mutilated or spoiled books will have to be replaced by the borrower.
5. If the book is lost, the library has the right to decide whether the book has to be replaced or a fine is to be paid by the borrower and the fine will be more than the current value of the book.
6. Reader can reserve books already issued, at the circulation counter.
7. Reserved books are kept for the readers for two days from the date of return by previous borrower.
8. Students should switch off their mobiles in and around the library.
9. Keeping in mind that the ‘library is a place of individual study’, students should maintain an atmosphere of dignity, peace and silence within the premises.
10. The borrowing facility can be withdrawn or restricted in case of misbehavior or misuse of the library.
